Stoopid 30" display question

I have a Mac with a NVIDIA 6800 card and a PC with a ATi 9800. If I buy the 30" Cinema Display, will I be able to connect it to the PCs 9800 albeit at a lower res., or will it just not work at all?

    the way dvi works is that there are a bunch of empty pins that are for expansion.



    the 30" uses all of the pins in the dvi connection. so if your graphics card dosen't support the display it won't have the extra pins







    if the graphics card dosen't say it supports the 30" it dosen't.



    it won't even work.

    Looks like Quake 4 on a 30"er is going to have to wait!
