How to save info from external HD?

I'm almost there I think....

I've managed to get my powerbook to recognise my Seagate HD and pick up the active partition. In Disc Utilities it gives me the option of making a 'New Image' , or 'First Aid', 'Erase', 'Partition', 'RAID' or 'Restore'.

Problem is I don't want any of these.

How do I save the data on the Hard Drive onto my Documents in the powerbook?

Is this something which is obvious which I'm missing (coming fresh from being a Windows user?)

The Permissions verification is complete btw.
