11.0 should be called Sabertooth so Apple will go for prehistoric cats this time

How long can the big cat names go on for ? Apple are quickly running out of big cats... Lynx is already taken, so is bobcat and cougar. Lion sounds cheesy, but then again so does Tiger

I guess there are some un-used ones though

    Serval

    Caracal

    Margay

    Jaguarundi

    Pampas Cat

    Kodkod

Most of which are south-american cats and are far less impressive than their african siblings. Besides, Tiger is the biggest sized cat, so its downhill from here

Now birds-of-prey, as someone else suggested, would be a whole different story

Well, Apple IS going to have to move on to OS11 (XI?) at some point...that'll be interesting. Heck...Apple might not even go up to 10.9...

    Hasn't Cougar already been used?

Incidentally in OS X the X stands for UNIX as well as 10 so maybe Apple will go up to 10.35!

That feature was on Tesserae on System 7.5! Although it needed a hot-key.

Leopard is the only one that jumps out at me from that list, and, surprise, it obviously did so for Apple as well.

Isn't it a little premature to think be thinking about 10.6 right now?
