Converting VHS to DVD

I am looking to convert some movies on VHS to DVD using i movie and i dvd and am thinking of buying either the Miglia directors cut take 2 or the Canopus dv convertor--both are about the same price--since I'm going to be using the Apple software--does it make any difference which one I get?



Has any one used any analog to dv converter and done this.

    ive got a miglia directors cut take 2 and its a fine piece of kit, imports vhs perfectly, and theres no hassle setting it up, imovie will instantly regonise it as a camera, then you jus hit import in imovie and play on your vhs, sit back and let it do its job. The quality is superb aswell. I would defiently reccomend buying one of these.
