Ibook dirty hand rest things

Ok, I need some help, I bought a new ibook last December, and it has started to get dirty where I rest my hands, I have read old posts about cleaning those areas, but I can?t seem to find them. Can anyone help me out and provide me with the link to them or give me some info on how to clean that area without damaging anything?

    My wife carefully wipes it off with Dawn dishwasher soap. Wet a towel lightly--put on a bit of Dawn and wipe it down with another cloth--be careful and don't get it too wet.

    I'd carefully spray some 409 cleaner on a paper towel and then wipe the handrests down.

    There is a product called Magic Eraser from 3M that cleans them perfectly. It's cheap, easy and safe.
