opinions on gaming for the Mac

I'm new to the Mac so I don't know gaming performance on the Mac. I got a new 12" Powerbook and the specs relative to gaming are:



G4 1.5 GHz CPU

1.2 GB RAM

GeForceFX Go5200 64 MB video card

5400 RPM harddrive

1024 x 768 resolution



I like games such as Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Call of Duty, but I've only played them on the PC.



I'm fairly sure UT will run fine on my G4 Powerbook, but what about the latter two? Will they both be smooth at 1024x768 and at what quality?

    hi, i think you can get playable frame rates (25-35fps) with call of duty and ut2004 on your mac, at 1024x768 noAA noAF (trilinear only)

    Halo. 'nuff said. Bungie used to make Mac games only. If you want to go real oldschool you can try Marathon and Myth.
