Possible to load old PC Quicken files into Quicken on OSX?

Hope this is the right forum for this question....Recently I was able to convince my wife, a lifelong PC user, to switch to Mac in part to get away from adware, spyware, and viri. I bought her a 20" iMac G5 which she likes very much except for one thing: we can't seem to figure out how to load our old PC quicken files onto the new machine, which means that we don't have access to our old account information. Does anyone know if this can be done, and if so, how? Thanks!

I've got Quicken 2004 on the Mac and according to the Help File (look in the Index under 'Transfer'), you can save/export your Windows version to a QIF file and the Mac version can import the QIF data.

It's been a few years since I did it myself, but I know it can be done.

    good luck!

    What he said!

Export as QIF (Quicken Interchangeable Format)from Windows and then import it into the Mac version.

    Enjoy the new iMac.
