What's the pixel size for rendering widescreen?

Hi,

I would like to create an animation in After Effects that will play back at 16:9 widescreen on a TV. I know that 4:3 PAL (UK) is 720 x 576 pixels but can anyone tell me what size I should create the after effects sequence in pixels to be 16:9?

I remember reading somewhere that it might be 720 x 405 pixels but I can't seem to find a link to it anymore

After effects it self suggests 720x480 for NTSC widescreen, and 720x576 for pal widescree, because in standard widescreen means that you leave black bars into the picture, and tv just stretshes it, if it detects black bars in picture. 720 in 16/9 makes 405, so that's propably what you should use..
