I turned on my pc yesterday to transfer some files to the iMac (just one week old), my mail box has received some 200 emails. Over the week, I have been playing with the iMac and getting emails from Mail. The problem is: Mail gets the emails from the service provider’s server, but the provider’s server keeps the mails. I have checked the email preference which has been set to ‘Mail’, so what’s could go wrong? You guys have offered me some help previously but I could not find the thread anymore, Help please!

Goto your preferences in Mail, click the account you want to modify and click Edit. Then goto the Account Options tab and check Delete Messages on server after downloading.
