Help save my hard drive
I have a LaCie 500 gb harddrive attached to my PowerbookG4. Recently, it has been disappearing from my system. Originally I just couldn't run the backup software (Silverkeeper) because it couldn't find the LaCie. I repaired permissions (did nothing) and disconnected the drive and Powerbook (unplugged and turned off). After that I was able to back up to the LaCie. But a few hours later I got the "Device Removed" notice. I repaired permissions again to no avail. Does anyone know what might be happening and what I can do to fix it? Thank you so much
