I have a coworker with a new 17" powerbook. Can and external DVI 20" Apple flat panel be plugged in and out while the computer is powered up, or will this eventually fry something? Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find anything using the search function.

DVI is hot swappable, should have no problem.
