Engraved 30gb Black iPod Replacement

Has anyone with a Engraved Black 30gb 5G sent in for repairs to apple gotten theirs back? or what progress is yours at?

    What makes you think the engravement makes any difference on the repair process?

    cuz it does...they get a new one reengraved for you - the site says so, and so do their reps...and so does the fact that they are willing to send me a non-engraved one, despite the fact that i keep tellign them no!

    lol, but yea, the replacements are engraved new ones, which are done overseas in some factory that hasnt been given any new ones yet
