iTunes keyboard shortcut to fastword?

does anyone know a keyboard short cut to fast-forward through a song (not skip it though)?

    cmd-opt-arrow (left or right) skips about 5 secs per click

    i can't get it to work. Am i just really stupid or is there something im missing (some preference i have to activate)?



    by 'cmd' you mean command, or the apple key, right? apple+option+arrow just skips the whole song for me, the same way simply tapping the left/right arrow does....

    Works here with 6.0.1



    Make sure you hold down the cmd-option keys first.

    Well, the cmd arrow is supposed to skip, and cmd-opt-arrow is supposed to ffwd. Make sure you don't have your option key as a shortcut to something else (expose), or make sure it works. other than that I have no idea why it wouldn't work

    it works now. I had it set as a shortcut to skip the song (from any app). Thanks
