Odd key-command issues
Hi,
Basically my problem is that (on an iBook G4 with 10.4.3) certain key-commands have stopped working, or now only function intermittantly. Things like cmd-n for a new document in Word, or shift-cmd-h to hide Photoshop - simply nothing happens. I've also had a long-standing annoyance where the desk-top clearing expose function will become unmapped from the mouse button I have it set to. But this morning not only that happened but none of the F-keys set as default for any of the expose functions would work. The system prefs panel shows everything set normally. The application-specific ones I have no idea how to diagnose.
Any brilliant ideas?
thanks,
nick
Update: The problems miraculously disappear if I restart, and then crop back up over the next few days. So I guess the question becomes, what is degenerating when I don't restart for a couple days, and how do I prevent it?

I presume we have the same problem, and if so it somehow gets "fixed" over a certain time. Is this a 10.4.3 issue?
I'll be honest and say that for me 10.4.3 has been the worst release of Mac OS X, let alone Tiger, since I began with Macs in Sept 04. Mail & Safari being the worst offenders.
