5gen Battery

I know that this has been an issue before but I have had my 30gig Video for 3 weeks now, fully charged 10 times and the battery wont last more than 3 hours. The backlight is on 2 seconds and I used it as much as I did my 2gen Mini. Should I be sending this back or whats up because I am getting pissed to be honest.

    If it lasts only 3 hours for mixed video and music playback, that's not unusual. If you're only getting 3 hours with music only, you should call Apple and explain the situation.

    Unless of course you are skipping a lot of songs, in which case you're spinning up the HD too much.

    I use playlists that are 2+ hours in length so I have no real reason to skip the tracks. I know how to conserve battery power because I had a mini. I think a call to Apple is in order.
