ripping a music video to the itunes

hey, ill make this short... anyone know how to a rip music videos from the hard copy dvd to the computer/imac itunes???

    looks nice.. but with itunes itself, cant do it without downloading more stuff???

    Not that I know of. Use HandBrake. It's awesome and converts movies to the right format for iTunes. So then you just add it to your iTunes library.

    I use handbrake and have put 7 or so full length videos on my iPod. I do 2 pass encoding, is that really worth it? It also takes a VERY long time to rewrite the movie to make it iTunes capable (usually 7-9 hours) Should it be taking that long? Is there anything better?
