thought of this tonight and thought if I would see if anyone besides me would be interested in this.



this is an ipod video add on...it would plug in flush with

the bottem of the ipod and have a camera lense and microphone...it would come with a cradle so you could set it in front of you and you could record video podcast directly to the ipod harddrive in either a quicktime format or mpeg4, relolution would be inthe 640 x 400 range. although it can capture low res still images it is primarily video capture, whenever you connect the ipod to your computer it will automatically load the file in to imovie for basic editing or in a new itunes that will have basic video editing based on the imovie interface(for the windows people) then you can upload your video cast to google video through the new apple/google video service

I also thought that this extension would have a larger capacity battery installed to extend battery life...instead of acting as a seperate battery though it would just act as a charger for the internal ipod battery, topping it off as it discharged

The processor inside the iPod does have the ability to capture 5-megapixel images, but I have no idea about video.
