Much like the subject says, I am looking for a good freeware that allows me to get music off of my iPod. I had been using iPod util, but don't like it and find it clunky, also it erases data like number of times the song has been played.

My mate told me that there are apps that allow you to keep play count when taking themm off an iPod.

So what is a good app for removing the music? I was going to go thru version tracker to find a good one... but figured it would be faster and easier for someone here to just suggest one.

Thanks.

Senuti is definately the way to go for Mac. For Windows, try PodPlayer. It's free and you can run it off of your iPod so you don't have to install anything on the computer you want to copy to.

The interface is...ok. You get used to it, but it's a little more complicated than I'd like. Then again, it is free.
