Cool Keyboard Tricks

I was bored one day, so I started playing around with Mac OS 9.2.2. In the process, I discovered a couple interesting keyboard shortcuts:
  • Hide others: control?option?delete

  • Hide ALL applications and go to the Finder: control?shift?delete

Cool, huh?

Do any of you know some lesser-known keyboard tricks?

Not working for me, then again my command-tab doesn't work either. Anyone know of any extension conflicts that can cause this?

Oops! It was Wapp Pro that allowed me to use those shortcuts, not Mac OS 9.2.2.

It may not be an extension conflict, but instead a different key combo might have been assigned for app switching. Here's how to change the key combo for app switching:

[*]Open Mac Help by pressing commandÂ?? in the Finder[*]Type "program switcher" in the search box[*]Click the first item, "Switching between open programs" or something similar[*]Scroll all the way down until you reach the link, "Help me modify the keyboard shortcuts" and click it[*]Follow the directions, and voilÃ*![/list=a]
