Broken Powerbook backlight
Dear All,
had a bit of a slip in the snow last night and managed to crush my TiBook. I know the machine and display are working but the backlight is not working and so it is not useable.
The main crush is on the cuff between the hinges on the display.
Has anyone had any experiences fixing the backlight ( home made duct tape remedies are my favourite ) - I was intending to upgrade the book at MWSF so the timing is good but not perfect
but it would be nice to limp along for 3 more weeks to get any cost benefits from anything new coming out...
