Gates has "Urge", makes platform for iPod V clones

Anyone else think MS' stupid new music service Urge, and the new iPod Video Clones will fall on their face? My only question is: do they come with antivirus software? Or do you have to go out and get a patch for a third party, before Microsoft gets around to fixing it?

    We can expect to see this ridiculous mock up fall flat on its face for two simple reasons:

    1) Apple already has a stake on 75% of all MP3 market sales.

    2) People aren't buying their players. They're buying iPods, and we all know iPods won't play their music files.



    In other words, too little, too late, Mr. Gates.

    This could be a marketing tie-in..."She's got the Urge...She's got the Urge...OOOoooo. Herbal Essences...now with a Bill Gates fragrance!" Or...not.

    Sources say that an Urge superbowl spot is in the works too...



    The commercials will feature a shadow committing suicide after taking a sledgehammer to a PC out of frustration while the chorus to "loser" by Beck serves as a nice audio track



    Bono was booked, so they settled for Beck.LOL

    At the moment i have an urge to check out Urge so i can urgently make and urgent statement on his urged service as he seems to be urging it.

    He's doing it because he wants a piece of that MP3 Market pie that Apple currently has a stronghold on. He won't succeed of course. Stick to making your ripoff version of Mac OS, Bill.
