Well, a family members 60gig iPod is acting unusual, the UI is working fine but there was suddenly no music, so she freaks out, comes to me and it turns out that not only can it not sync to a windows or mac computer long enough for a factory reset, but the hard disk si spinning constantly, I dont hear any acctual "clicking" like a normal badHDD, but I have never seen anything short of a server drive spin this long without stopping...since I cant flash it, what should I do? I have reset the firmware several times too.

UPDATE...Now iPod updater is throwing an error code 60008

Update 2: No info about that error code oin Apple.com, looks like a call to tech support is in the near future.
