MS-Entourage and mac.com

I just signed up for a @mac.com e-mail adress, but cannot get that adress (hotmail and others works fine) to send mail in MSEntourage. Recieving mail is no probs. What's wrong? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

    don't use smtp.mac.com, use the one you have from your internet provider.

    Ain't working with the latter suggestion. Guess I have to stick with sending mail with m§-hotmail. Thanks for your efforts. <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

    I have Entourage set up for my mac.com address and it works fine. I believe I have it set up as Jonathan suggested: I have smtp.mac.com as the SMTP server. Under Advanced sending options, the only box I have checked is "SMTP server requires authentication" and the radio button for "Use same setting as receiving mail server" is selected. It works fine, hope this helps. If I'm just repeating what you've already tried, sorry.
