Has anybody wall-mounted an iMac? The ports on the back seem like a bit of an obsticle, but I could use wireless keyboard and mouse.

Would there be heat issues?

The new iMac (isight and on) doesn't have a VESA mount option from Apple. Haven't looked into other options yet but heat might not be a problem because it vents from the top rear.

I'm thinking of the old one - I figure the price on them will drop quite a bit now on eBay, and I can mount one to the wall beside my payphone (for phone number lookups).

Mine is, but it's on an arm actually. The deal is the VESA iMac adapter is about 1in thick, and any VESA wall mount will ikely be another 1in thick. So you'll have 2in which is enough for USB connections. I have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, airport express for wireless printing. Still gotta keep my digicam cable and iPod cable plugged in though...
