New Apple Ad, ACTUALLY on TV?

Has anyone heard if/when this new Apple/Intel ad might be on TV (or has anyone seen one)? Is this another one of those MacWorld only stunts to never see the light of day on network/cable TV such as the Will Ferrell ads?



Apple really needs to start advertising the Mac in a big way.

    Actually even the Will Ferrell ad did make it on TV.

    Actually, Apple is getting huge press about the new Intel Macs, I've seen lots on TV about them today. I was really surprised by the amount of coverage, but people want to see what the latest and greatest is from the company that made the iPod.



    Heck, lots of people emailed me to see if I'd, "Seen the new Macs yet" and "What do you think of them?" These are mainly PC users by the way, so they are definitely aware these new Macs exist.



    I have yet to see one of the new ads on TV, but knowing Apple, they did not want the ads to be given to the networks showing their early move to Intel, so they probably held off on gettng them to the networks until late yesterday or today.

    They just had the ad on the Chicago/Carolina Game on Fox...



    Might increase the chances of it being during the super bowl as well? I'm sure apple has the money to spend, but they might spend it more wisely on the playoffs.

    I saw it couple times, during the Bears/Panthers game, then through Desperate Housewives- Grey's Anatomy.

    The NFL games and Desperate Housewives are certainly two good starts.



    It will be interesting to see how long and widespread these ads are going to be compared to the usual iPod ads.



    Damn you, Apple, now I'll have to abandon my 30-second skip on the Tivo just to make sure I didn't miss it!



    As a side note, there were no Apple ads in West Wing or the entire 2 hour 24 broadcast this evening (other than before the show actually started).
