What kind of clicker does SJ use in his keynotes?

Wait...why doesn't Steve use an Apple Remote? On the Keynote 3 site I read that the you can use the Apple Remote to control your slideshow.

I guess its coz the apple remote is IR and that would mean he would have to aim it at the receiver,
