Safari Cache Problem

When I deactivate Safari Cache I am unable to add attachments to my Yahoo emails. I get an error message. I'm using 10.4.4 but the issue has been there since I upgraded from Panther. There was no problem with deactivated cache and Yahoo email attachments with Panther.



Any ideas what might be causing the problem? And how to fix it.
