by problems, i'm not sure if you mean that itunes isn't working properly, or doesn't do what we want. i'll assume you meant the latter, in which case, the only problem i have with it this:

let's say playlist A is music that I like. Playlist B is music that both my boyfriend and I like. When he's not home, I listen to playlist A. When he comes home, I switch to playlist B. The problem is that when I switch, iTunes finishes playing the song it is playing, and then stops because the playlist that it was playing (A) is no longer active. I wish it would automatically continue playing in the newly active playlist (B, in this case). I can see how this could be annoying if you were listening to one playlist and adding songs to another, it would switch even if you didn't want it to, so maybe an opeion to turn this on or off.

    whew! hope that made sense.

almost forgot! i wish it supported my burner (yamaha crw8824ez) get on that!

I think you've described normal behavior for iTunes. If it is playing Playlist A, merely selecting Playlist B does not activate it. You could hit the Delete key and remove Playlist B or rename it. My point is, and this is pretty consistent with all Mac software, after you SELECT Playlist B, you need to tell iTunes what you want to do with it. In your case, you want it to play, so you need to click the Play button. Of course, that means iTunes will stop playing Playlist A and jump to Playlist B. There is no way to "que" playlists in iTunes. In fact, in normal operation, iTunes does not automatically move from the end of one playlist to the beginning of the next. You must do that manually.

    Hope this helps.

Arrgg. I just re-read your post and then mine again and I realize you KNOW that this is what iTunes is doing, you just wish it did what you wanted. So the real answer here is, let's hope that Apple adds some way to que songs or playlists in the next version.
