iPod Updater

Did anyone else have trouble with iPod Updater 2006-01-10. It keeps dowloading and telling me that the installer couldn't expand the package. It doesn't seem to be a major update that I need but I'd like to get it out of my Software Update window. Any suggestions?

    Under one of the menus there is a make inactive option. Forget which menu but just select that.
