Any tests between 1.83 Intel vs. 2.0 G5 iMacs?
Wondering how a rev B. 2.0 G5 iMac would compare to the new 1.83 Intel iMac.
There's a difference of 170 mhz in favour of the G5, but does the Intel make that up in with duo processors? (assuming we're comparing native apps for each)
Also how much better is the video card compared to the x600 Radeon in the G5?

Here is my test:
i've added the PM D core 2.3 results to the intel vs g5 tests. The tests of the Intel iMac 20'' will be ready too soon.

Thanks for posting these tests. So, although the test conditions are not detailed, your results for video encoding, show that QuickTime performance stinks compared to Handbrake. \ Same for iMovie. However, the Core Duo iMac beats in the Safari test even the most powerful Power Mac. Not sure why this is so. Superior integer resources? Better memory performance?
