Sorry to ask silly questions, but does this memory fit the Mac mini correctly? I know it probably isn't great quality stuff, but I'm a poor student so will have to just cross my fingers. Thanks.

As far as I can tell, it does. But don't listen to me--check it out yourself. The best way I've found to figure this kind of thing out is to go to www.crucial.com and use the Memory Advisor. Then just look at what they're selling and if you can't find any difference--it probably works. (read carefully, though!)
As for quality--whatever. It sucks to have memory die on you, but memory's pretty good these days. More importantly, it's cheap. If you've got some cheap memory in a computer and the computer isn't working quite right, you can just take the offending memory out and throw it away--no serious harm done. "Premium" memory, though, is often no more reliable than this stuff, it just has slightly better latencies (maybe) and maybe overclocks better, but you're really just paying l33t g4mr tax. (although I might consider paying a bit more for a warranty and stuff like that, but only on a new/expensive computer)
Thanks for the tip, that stuff seems to do the job, fingers crossed, and since it is about a quarter the cost of new big name chips, I think I'll give it a go. Not relishing the thought of prising my mini casing apart though - the manuals and videos I've seen make me a bit worried about scratching it!
