I saw the demo Jobs gave in his keynote and I am impressed with the elegance. Does any one know if it requires .Mac, however?

    It does not require .Mac. You have the option to "publish to a folder," and then upload the folder to wherever you want. You just have to upload it yourself if you don't have .Mac.

    Apple says a .mac account is needed for iPhoto Photocast publishing, but other than that you can use your own web site.
