Doing clean install/upgrade to Tiger, iLife '06. Suggestions?
I've had my 1.25Ghz Powerbook G4 for more than two years now. Recently, it's been starting to act strange throughout the system. Performance has taken a hit, iPhoto lost its library -- it's still there, but it didn't know it -- and several other odd things are happening.
All that, coupled with the fact that I need to upgrade FROM 10.3.9, QT 6, Avid Xpress Pro 4.5, and iLife '05 cause me to want to wipe my system and reinstall everything fresh and new.
I've used Backup 3 to backup everything that seems to be important (including Keychain, app preferences, etc.) and even backed up my photos and iTunes library independently from Backup just in case it doesn't restore correctly. What else should I make sure I do before I start wiping the drive and rebuilding my system?
