Yah. If realtime were fine, i could just run it and use Audio Hijack or something like that to get it.
Since the audio is on DVD, you will need hardware capable of reading DVD at a faster rate. The only thing that comes to mind, is a DVD dubbing machine. If they have an audio out port, perhaps that would extract the audio faster than real time., ($$$?)

Since importing into a video program occurs in real time, you are looking for something to import audio in faster than real time. Is that right?
