Password Protect Files, Invisiible to spotlight.

Laptop serves as home computer for more than one perspon. Having multiple logins arouses supsicions, but I'd like a place to store files/data I want to keep private.



Is it possible to password protect a file folder, and is it then possible to prevent the contents of this folder from being displayed in spotlight searches?

    Password protecting that folder wouldn't arouse suspicions, but multiple users would?

    thats why it should also be invisible to spotlight searches.....if it can't be seen then it can't arouse suspicions.

    I've found out now - use disk utility to create a disk image. Name it something that sounds like it's a system file and password protect it.
