I've tried 'em all and I keep coming back to the good ol' reliable <a href="http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=13571&db=mac"; target="_blank">MT-Newswatcher</a>. Sure, it's got some bugs, but it's speedy and the interface isn't nearly as bad as some of the other clients.

If you're a fan of the Mozilla project, it has a built-in client too.

    Ditto.

Thoth, uh, sucks. Speaking as someone who paid for it. It works, but it's cumbersome and unintuitive.

MT-Newswatcher has its quirks, but it's fast and familiar and a pleasure to use.
