googabuntu

Reading on a business site, I followed a link, and read that google is working on a desktop os, which is internally known as 'goobuntu'. As the name implies, it is their version of ubuntu linux(that south african debian distribution of linux). It may just be used internally at goggle.

If I ever do get different hardware than a Mac, which I so far have not, I have thought about ubuntu linux.

However, not the goobuntu, as I have no desire to help google achieve world domination. I use dogpile more now(which admittedly uses google as one of its engines), which I started using a few years ago. I like the sorting feature better on dogpile, for my purposes.

The short article is here.
