Dual G4 Not Waking from Sleep

My friend has a dual Power Mac G4, not sure which model but he thinks it may be a dual 1 GHz. Often when trying to wake the machine from sleep it won't wake up and get a blank screen. Other times the keyboard and mouse won't work after waking up. Several restarts are sometimes required to use the machine again.



Any ideas on what's causing this or possible fixes? I suggested to him the usual zap PRAM, repair permissions, etc.



Is there a specific flaw with some Mac models for being unresponsive after being woken up?



Any help would be appreciated.

    Any additional hardware in that machine? Some pci cards have sleep issues.

    I had suggested to my friend he zap the PRAM, and so far this is work. If this problem persists I'll post again. Thank you for your feedback.
