HTML encoded email in Outlook Express

Ive coded a small webpage with pictures that I would like to send as an email. Thing is, when I paste the code in and send it(to myself to test) it comes through just as the code. Ive used Outlook Express, Eudora and Apple's new Webmail and still nothing changes. However, when sending it from hotmail it works properly. I dont like hotmail very much so I would prefer not to use it. But it should work in Outlook anyway, so does anyone have any know how that could help me out?
