Was downloading some text for fontbook from a website and installed a few, some worked some didnt. Next time i opened safari/firefox, text was all messed up on most sites. I have no clue what happened.
You have a corrupt copy of a font. I had a similar problem where I had two copies of a font, one of which was corrupt, and they were installed in different places. I think I was able to find it in FontBook and delete the corrupted copy, otherwise I'd compare your various font folders and see what you find.

~/Library/Fonts/
/Library/Fonts/
/System/Library/Fonts/ <- Should be safe though
