iBook Logic Board Replacement

Hi all,



I currently have an iBook G4 800 MHZ. I've seen a replacement logic board with a 1.2 Ghz chip on eBay ... anybody know if I can take my current logic board out and put this new one in?

    Assuming the one on eBay is the same size as yours, yes you can. It's not for someone who's afraid of laptop guts though.



    This guide will take you through the disassembly steps. You'll also want to print out one of their handy dandy screw-guides.



    My iBook G4 logic board died recently and I just sold the last parts on eBay yesterday. I hope your iBook lives forever... it's not a pleasant thing to lose one...
