Crashy FInder 10.3.9
Thought this might be interesting to some. There's a problem with the "Firewire Target Disk Mode" software in 10.3.9 (and possibly later versions).
1) On a G5 1.8 GHz running OS 10.3.9, I connected a Ti 400 Book in Firewire Target Disk Mode.
2) On the G5, I mounted the disk image for Firmware Update 4.1.8 (which was destined for the Powerbook).
3) I dragged the mounted disk image to the Powerbook target disk icon, intending to copy the entire thing as a folder.
4) System froze ... spinny thing, etc.
5) Opt-Cmd-Esc and Force Quit only caused the menu bar to disappear!
6) Had to unplug the power.
Ran into this crash several times. (I finally gave up and downloaded the firmware update directly to the Powerbook.)
