My mighty mouse arrived the day after apple released it and now the little scroll ball is full of fuzz and it doesn't want to scroll down anymore. what should do? i don't want to try anything on my own cause last time with my keyboard it didn't end up well

Wow. That's not good news considering I bought one the other day.



But I suggest slowly pulling it out with some tweezers.

I don't mean the ball, I mean the fuzz. If you can reach inside around it to see the fuzz, that is.



If not, take it to an apple store and tell them. See if they know how to fix it.

i would have done that but the nearest apple store is 45 minutes away. Detroit doesn't have one. i think apple needs a mini store round here. i would like to know if any1 else has had this problem

Somewhere on their website i believe it addresses this problem I think they said to take a damp washclothe, or paper towel, and just move the ball around with it, and the moisture will pick up the fuzz. Not 100% sure though, so you might want to try finding it on their website somewhere yourself.

acutally i put some Purell hand sanatizer on the ball and just scrolled around in all directions. it's working very very smoothly now and I am very pleased; just in case someone else has my problem which I am sure they will.
