Disk utility & fat12

Hi all



I have a camera that takes SD cards and it was in fat 12.. then I used Disk utility to erase the card and cannot select fat12 anymore so therefor I can only use the onboard 12mb instead of my card



Anyone know how to make DU show fat12? Or at least a terminal command to format the SD card
