Sub-Notebooks vs Notebooks

Hello! I've read many topics about iBooks, PowerBooks & now MacBooks.. there are also the not so distant new iBooks (MacBooks?) & the posible 13.3" MacBooks versions.. My point here is simple: What's the overall experience between a Sony VAIO 11" Sub-Notebook vs a Apple 12" PowerBook or iBook? If Apple had today the 11" form factor & the 13.3" how would you compare it? Taking out the obvious "portability" how confortable are they? What are the pro & cons?



I'm not asking Mac OS vs Windows, the VAIO is only to give you an idea about the form factor.



I'm holding off buying my next Apple Laptop until I'm absolutely sure what's best for me, beeing portability my primary concern..



I would appreciate any help..!

I swear to you that the 12" powerbook is perfect. It has the perfect sized keyboard and is infinitely money.

I agree that the 12inch is the way to go. I don't think that Apple will come out with a sub-notebook. The 13.3 widescreen might be cool, but why not a 14inch widescreen?

I hope they come out with both versions: 13.3" & 14.1" widescreen... I wan't the 13.3" version only because of portability

3 Mac Book Pro sizes, 13.3, 15.4 and 17.whatever inches



3 iBook sizes, 11.1, 13.3, 15.4 inches



please Apple give me a beautiful little subnote like the Sony TX series!
