w00t! II will be saving for (amoungst other things) a new computer setup early next year! Just the thought of a quad core intel Mac and a 23 inch display running leopard, where the FTFF message will have finally shown results makes my heart all warm and fuzzy!

Remember, it won't be released in June, just demoed. It will probably be released either at the end of this year or early next year.

If I was Steve Jobs, I would release it about a month after Vista was release to steal its marketing thunder and draw attention away from it.

Remember though people don't buy windows OS's right away...at least the smart people don't, cause they know there are to many bugs. So apple has a loooot of time to improve on it...hey maybe they could actually take some of the new Vista ideas from microsoft...if thats possable considering that vista is a near direct copy of Tiger...

There is one feature in Vista that I think Apple should copy...

In Vista while saving a file, the save dialog provides fields to enter in meta data. This is simply brilliant because the best time to add meta data to a file is when it is initially created.

Nothing new here: been doing it for years with audio and video files, it just took someone this long to apply it accross the whole FS...great move MS, blatently obvious, but really good.

Thats my officially #1 request for MacOS X from now on and until they implement it. Brilliant and yet so simple.

Has anyone seen the pix of Leopard going around? I had a buddy send them to me in iChat but I can't get them to open.

I think they're running out of jungle cats.

    What's left? Lion, Bobcat, Sabertooth Tiger...I've missed a major predator haven't I?

Ooo, how about Mac OS X Predator?, the one that hides itself (or goes invisible as it may be) and infiltrates Windows in a ritualistic hunt... I love it.

I still think they ought to go with Ocelot.
