iPhoto not displaying comments?

I added a few comments to my photos and they won't show up under "Information" about the photos. However, they are still searchable. In other words, say I write "New York in the winter" as a comment; it won't show up anywhere, but if I search for "New York" the photos still come up in the search. Any ideas?

    they don't show up when you press command-i. In the lower left corner of the iPhoto window, there is a small button that has the letter "i" on it. If you click it, it will bring up a small window within the source column in which your comments will be displayed.

    That's what I mean: the comments don't show up in the information pop-up thingy. That's what I used to enter the comments in the first place, but when I go back to the photo later, the comments are "gone".
