Safari no longer offering to remember passwords as much

I have notice that an increase number of websites that Safari is not offering me the option to automatically save my username and password in KeyChain.



I used to be able to logon into my credit card bank and have Safari automatically remember/fill-in my user name and password. Now I am force to type them in but now remember what the user name and password were.



Not all sites are like this. But is seems a ever increasing number are. Am I crazy or what?

There is a tag that web page designers can put into the source code that tells the browser not to save passwords, Safari honours this. Many banks use it for customer security.
