Slowness or crashing from Entourage Attachments

I have 1.5ghz 15" PB with 1.5gig RAM....when I go to attach a document to an email in Entourage is take foreva and sometimes crashes the program if I go do something else,.



Anyone else have this issue? Any resolutions out there other than stop using Entourage?

    the only thing that I can think of is to make sure that there are no updates to fix it.
