Safari no longer displays PDF files. How do I correct this?

in Mac Software edited January 2014
Safari used to display PDF files when I clicked on them. Now, I end up getting a blank white page.

Anybody know the procedure or trick to correct this?

Thanks to all who answer.

Did you turn off "Open Safe Files after downloading" in the Safari general prefs? That would do that and they would go wherever your other downloads go.

I actually like it that way because then I can use Acrobat or Preview to open them up and have a better handle on zoom and manipulation.

In Acrobat (Reader) there's an item called 'Detect and Repair' in the 'Help' menu. Maybe this will help.
